How does lip blush work?

How does lip neutralization work?
Using a tattoo pen with a a needle to deposit bright color orange , yellow or red pigments into the lips to eliminate or lighten the dark spots/melanin in your lips.
What is the healing process ?
Your lips may be swollen for up to 48 hours following the procedure. Lips may look patchy while healing which is normal which is due to your skin regenerating. Lips may or may not peel within first week after service. Your lips may feel dry please follow after care instructions for best results. After peeling process lips will either be really light then turn dark then heal in the color. Lip neutralization lips may heal a shade or two lighter after turning dark will need multiple session to achieve desire look depending on your lips also lip neutralization can take longer for color to appear or lips will continue to get lighter after months. PLEASE HAVE PATIENCE THIS IS NOT AN OVERNIGHT PROCESS!!
Pre-care for lip blush and lip neutralization .
✖ DO NOT work out 24 hours before procedure
✖ DO NOT Sun tan or use tanning beds one week prior to the procedure.
✖ DO NOT take Aspirin, Niacin, Vitamin E or Advil/Ibuprofen 48 hours before the procedure.
✖ STOP Retin A, Alpha Hydroxy Acid at least 6 weeks before the procedure.
✖ DO NOT consume alcohol, caffeine or stimulants 48 hours prior the procedure.
✖ DO NOT take Fish Oil, Primrose Oil, Prenatal Vitamins, Nutritional Shakes, Hair, Skin Supplements 48 hours prior to the procedure.
✖ You must wait at least 1 month after lip fillers before having the procedure. It is possible to have poor color retention in lips that have had injections. Lip fillers can be done 6 weeks after touch up.
✖ You must wait 1 month after lip implants and get a written clearance from your surgeon before the procedure.
✖ Begin your Antiviral Medication 3 days prior to your procedure.
*If you are prone to getting cold sores, you will need an antiviral prescription. Physicians usually instructs to begin taking it 3 days before the permanent makeup procedure, for a 7-10 day period.

After-care for lip blush and lip neutralization
- Avoid any salty, oily, spicy and citrus food for the first few days.
- On the day of your appointment, wipe your lips each hour with a cotton round to absorb any fluids and then apply ointment right after.
- Do not touch your lips with dirty fingers!
- Apply the given ointment multiple times a day for at least 10 days after the procedure with either a clean finger or Q-tips provided and pat it in and do not rub.
- You may ice the area within the first 48 hours, do not put the ice directly on your lips use a barrier and only keep it on for 10 minutes at a time.
- Do not smoke while your lips are healing for at least 10 days after your appointment.
- Do not kiss or rub lips while your lips are healing.
- Try not to constantly wipe or lick your lips when eating.
- Try to sleep on your back elevated for the first night to avoid swelling and use a new pillow case (if possible satin material)
- Avoid swimming for at least 4 weeks to help avoid an infection.
- Do not whiten teeth while your lips are healing (at least 2 weeks)
- Do not go into direct sunlight or tanning beds for 4 weeks as this can alter the colour of the pigment on your lips.
- Do not touch or pick at your lips! If you pick at your lips or the scabs this will remove the lip colour. Let the scabs fall off naturally.
- After 10 days, you can wear lip makeup but make sure the product is new.
- Do not get any facials, Botox or fillers for at least 4 weeks after the appointment.
- Do not use any soaps or creams on your lips for 10 days.
- Avoid wetting your lips for 10 days, when showering, brushing teeth, etc. put ointment on the area to protect your lips from the water.
- Drink everything through a straw if possible for one week following the procedure.
- Avoid stretching the lips too much, cut food into tiny pieces if needed.
